Thick Hair - Maintenance.

If you are one of those people who has hair that the Hairdresser thinks came from a sheep, here is my tip for best maintenance of that precious resource.

1. The best brush for your hair is the ExelPet brush.

This brush features metal spikes, like many brushes on the market. The only difference is that those other brushes have small balls of plastic at the end of each bristle. The ExelPet brush does not, so it is ideal for getting any rubbish out of your hair. What's more, it means that the bristles  reach right to your skin, ensuring a very persuasive brushing! (People like us often have hair that does not do what we want it to do without a fight!) Great for the person on the move - brush your hair in less than 30 seconds! And it's virtually painless, unlike combs!!

Of course, the ExelPet brush was designed for dogs, but it's just perfect.

It's also Double-Sided! The brush on the other side is next to useless  as a brush, however, it is just perfect for back scratching in the shower!

TOP: Great for brushing hair

BOTTOM: Great for back scratching!

2. It is best to wash your hair every 1 to 2 weeks. Longer periods are possible, but the longer you leave it, the more you'll look like Bronwyn Bishop.

3. Another product recently available is the Breville Hair Cutting Kits. These cost around $35 if you shop arond, and come with an instruction video as well as a hardy set of shearers. It is good to have another person to use it on your hair, but if you don't have another person available, judicious use of mirrors and a video camere should suffice. If you have neither of these, it may be the perfect excuse to either go to the pub, or to buy a video camera. (Depending on your persuasions.) In the mean time, you can shine a desk lamp at yourself and stare at the monitor while the starfield simulation screensaver is running. You'll look just like the model Rimmer in Red Dwarf when Kryten took everyone on a tour of Rimmer's life...

But I digress.

Hope this helps you. These brushes are readily available at most supermarkets! These clipper sets currently retail at RetraVision stores around the country. You can get them at some chemists too, but for double the price!

ExelPet brushes are made in China.
