The best pillow I own I would be sad to part with. It was once a full bodied, feather filled pillow; but some years ago, when we still had those foster kids, one of then bashed it too hard, and half its stuffing escaped. It was sewn up again, but looked rather sick.
This pillow has some unique features. But it's best is its abillity to block light and sound. It can be wrapped around your head to provide a cool, comforting rest, and mutes almost all high frequency sound, as well as blocking all light. Just the thing for us late-nighters :)
The instructions for making your own are pretty self-explanatory - half unstuff a feather-filled pillow (not one of those synthetic mock-ups that make you overheat) and then sew it together again. You then have your best pillow. PS - If you're married, make two. It saves arguments :)
