Ode to my Shoes.

Dunlop KT-26

Never in my life have I had a pair of shoes as faithful as these, costing a mere $30 these shoes have survived over three years, but in September, 1998 were beginning to show their age. In July they began to wear very thin, but with the help of Tarzan's Grip (tm) they survived another 2 months.

Was amazed that despite their extreme reliability I could not find them in the local shop, but fear not! Had a mate going down to Dubbo and woohoo! Another $30 later I am all set for another 3 years!

And why do I love these shoes? Well the image right shows why - the base of the shoe consists of a foam rubber material covered by a solid rubber covering. This foam rubber gives an excellent feel to each step - making walking a satisfying experience.

Now many people these days go and shell out over $100 for a pair of Reeboks and other fancy stuff, but with the solid rubber grip on them they are not anywhere near as comfortable. (And I aint ever had them last for 3 years either.) Back Home
