Why I changed to Internet Explorer

Why would anyone change to Internet Explorer when Netscape seems to be such a good program.

Here are my reasons:

Many sites that use tables that include photos, etc within those table's cells are often displayed much faster on IE than NS. My example page is the Sydney Morning Herald. It seems that Netscape must wait until it has started  to download all the images before it dares display the table; but IE on the other hand will show the table straight away, and move things around as it figures out where the pictures go.

My other favourite feature - IE automatically begins to download a file when you request it, before you've gotten around to telling it where to put it. This is a small time saving, but nonetheless effective.

What I don't like:

No Obvious Images button, so therefor not good for slow connection users. (Netscape highly recommended in that case.)

No "Copy Image Location" option in the context menu. (Useful for Web editors, etc.)

Tedious Favourites management system.

Whether this will make you want to change or not is up to you. I am still a switcher, picking and choosing, but unless Netscape change their page displaying technique, I'll be more of an IE user.
